How long we keep information
● We will normally hold your data in encrypted form for a period of 3 years at which point we will contact you to check the data is current and ask if you want to remain on our supporters list.
● Unless you request otherwise, it will then be removed from the current version of our supporters database and securely archived in an encrypted backup for a total period of 6 years to comply with our audit and HMRC rules, after which it will be permanently deleted.
Who we share information with
We will only transfer your data to third parties in order to deliver services to you. Should an instance occur where Hope for the Future needed to transfer your data, your permission would be explicitly sought out beforehand. We use MailChimp as our email automation platform for our e-mailings and your email address is transferred to MailChimp for processing in accordance with their Privacy Policy . Unsubscribe options are included with these mailings.

How we hold and process your data
We hold your details electronically in our supporters database. Our supporters database is held on Beacon and Quickbooks with access restricted to authorised personnel via a password protected log-in. We have reviewed Beacon and Quickbooks’ data security standards and confirmed that these provide high standards of protection for the data hosted.
