Communities for the Climate

Bridging Communities and Politicians

Our new strategy is built on a simple but powerful idea: real change happens when communities and politicians work together.

With the UK’s 2030 climate commitments fast approaching, this is a critical moment to strengthen democractic engagement, amplify community voices, and push for ambitious, inclusive climate and nature action.

Our Focus 2025 - 2027

For over a decade, we’ve worked alongside communities to build confidence, skills, and relationships that make political engagement effective. Now, we’re deepening that impact. We’re supporting underrepresented groups to have a stronger voice in the decisions that impact them. We’re helping people connect climate action to everyday concerns like housing, transport, and health.

How we will Deliver Change

At our core we remain the same - committed to bridging people and politicians - building understanding and positive relationships between the two, for meaningful policy change for climate and nature.

We are building on this by evolving our training and campaign support to meet the needs of different communities, strengthening partnerships and cross-sector collaboration and mobilising people at key political moments. All to turn conversations into commitments and commitments into action. This strategy is about urgency, resilience, and ensuring climate and nature solutions work for everyone.
