At Hope for the Future, we are really excited to join Councillor Ed Lamb in conversation, to talk about what we could achieve for climate change and nature if we get more people having good conversations with the people elected to represent them. Ed is a Green Councillor who represents Bebington Ward on Wirral Borough Council. We're going to talk about how you can shape policy and get climate and nature to the top of politicians' agendas.
We'll be speaking to Ed about how concerns and suggestions from his constituents influence his stance and policy decisions on climate-related matters, which methods of communication are most effective, and how to really make your request stand out amongst the hundreds of requests received by Councillors each week. We will also explore the range of options you have to influence your local authority and who to go to to progress your campaigns. And so much more....so come along!
Hope for the Future will be talking with Ed in person on the Wirral, and the conversation will be livestreamed to your device via Youtube Live. Attendees will have the opportunity to submit their own questions in advance and in real time, making this a dynamic and interactive session.
If you can't make this time, please still sign up and you'll receive the recording to watch in your own time. The Youtube Live link will be sent the week before the event.
